How to “remove” the clouds in an NDVI image AND return as 1 band

I am trying to download NDVI as 1 band with a Cloud mask. Esssentially I am trying to combine these two scripts and need some assistance. How to get evalscript that calculates NDVI for each available satellite repectively

in the project i am working on, i should calculate the ndvi for all satellite missions. i know how to structure and build the request, but it seems the evalscript through which the ndvi is calculated differs according to the selected satellite mission. my question is, can i refer to EO Browser and copy the evalscript from it? i mean, one can check the evalscript used in the latterly mentioned link, can i simply copy the evalscript from it and paste it in my code?! is that possible

Download multiple images causes rate limit exception

I am using process API [Preformatted text](https://services.sentinel-hub.com/api/v1/process) but I have to fetch the data for 500 places in less than 30 seconds. So according to my knowledge, SentinalHub doesn’t support multiple (png/jpeg) images in 1 request. So we have to loop the coordinates and hit the API for each image. Problem: The issue is API fails and returns the Rate Limit exception. Is there any way through which we can hit 500 requests in less than 30 sec, or hit a simple call and get 500 images? NDWI: custom script for QGIS to match the EO browser

Hi! I am having trouble in obtaining the same image in the QGIS throgh the plugin compared to the EO browser for the NDWI. I have gone through some posts and the proposed scripts but it does shows the same image still… neither the custom scripts stored in the custom scripts repository, it is all black in the background. Cloud pixel percentage

Accessing Sentinel data for lakes

Hi, While trying to explore the EO browser, I understood that there are images related to Chlorophyll index values (Ullysis Water Quality Viewer). Is there a possibility that I can directly access the raw data associated to the RGB images, directly from Sentinel-2. How do we download them into CSV format? We need it for location Devils Lake, North Dakota from the years 2016-2022 (May - Nov) or atleast one year or summer. Thanks,

Statistical API: Exceeding width and length limits with goal of calculating tile statistics

Hi team, I want to calculate the percentage of clouds in a tile. However, I’ve encountered that the tile’s width exceeds the allowed 2,500 range. Would the most effective approach be to split the polygons into smaller chunks and process iteratively, or is there a more efficient workaround anyone can suggest on the tile level? I’m keen to maintain accuracy but also want to avoid excessive overhead if possible. Thanks in advance for any insights!

Techniques to get high resolution images of given coordinates through EO Browser or Python package

Hello everyone, I am tackling a deep learning project and I need satellite images such as this one. Given I have a set of known coordinates, how and where can I get images of this resolution? Trying through EO Browser the best I get is with bilinear/bicubic upsampling and it is still blurry and not usable. The same with sentinelhub-py. Any advice on improving resolution of Sentinel products will be most welcome. My last resort will be super-resolution though I don’t think I will get much with it. Please note that I am not looking for commercial products (Pleiades etc).

Problem key name inventory sentinel-2

I am trying to access inventory via lambda using python. my problem is that when generating the script I get the following error: “when calling the GetObject operation: The specified key does not exist”. the bucket and the nme key I use are: *inventory_bucket = 'sentinel-inventory'* key = 'sentinel-inventory/sentinel-s2-l1c/sentinel-s2-l1c-inventory/2021-11-09T00-00Z/manifest.json'* I would like to know if I am using the wrong key or why it does not work for me in this case.

I have tried multiple times to get Airbus satellite imagery from multiple locations, yet i still receive the same error every time. can you please explain to me a way to solve the problem? How to calculate statistics on NDVI images for multypoligons

How to download Sentinel 2 L2 products prior to 2018?

I am downloading Sentinel-2 L2 products from EObrowser, but I cannot download the data from 2017 to 2018. When I try to download an image of one of the 2017-2018 scenes, I get an error message like the one in the sentences below and cannot download it. This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. Invalid key (81a3da8c-498a-490d-8b3f-98a4296379f4) to access Products I am aware that Sentinel-2 L2 products have been available globally since March 2017. Please respond as I would like to download the relevant data. Best regards.

Creating a Custom Grid on a Folium Map

I am quite new to python and I need to create a custom grid with a specific spacing on a Folium map for a particular district. I have added the Polygon of district boundary on the folium map. The grid spacing should be set to 7 km in the x-direction and 5.5 km in the y-direction. I have written the following code but I am stuck at that. Is there any library for creating the grids? Can anyone guide me how to do it? EO Browser Network Error' downloading Hi-Res'

Hi All, I have created a cloudless mosaic in EO Browser using the cloudless mosaic custom script. However when I try to download this in Hi-Res I get the following error. “An error has occured while fetching some of the images: Network Error”. Reducing the size/resolution of the area being downloaded resolves the issue, but to get the resolution I’m after (approximate 14,000px wide image) would require a large number of downloads and then stitching them together. The “How to create your own Cloudless Mosaic in less than an hour” tutorial looks like what I need, but using “Batch” mode seems to require a 400 euro/month plan. I would be happy to pay to download the image, but this is a one off personal project so 400 euro is a bit out of my budget. Is there another or better way to do this? Any help would be much appreciated. Regards, Steve

Question about downloading images with API

Hi! Im using the API for download a bunch of images and i have a trial account. Let’s say that i have a 10.000 lines excel and i have to request those lines and download with the API that quantity of images…can i do that with the trial account or do i have to pay for a package? Because when i go for the line 140, the script send me this error message:SHRateLimitWarning: Download rate limit hit ** warnings.warn(‘Download rate limit hit’, category=SHRateLimitWarning)** I don’t understand the PU usage and that. What do i need to do for download that entire excel? thanks!

Process API cannot consume resolution 10m

I attempted to download an image of an area, with a resolution of 10m. However, I got a message announcing: “Invalid request”, when I try to request with the following parameters: RESX=10m & RESY=10m. How could I solve this problem? Hope to receive your comment!

Difference between Sentinel Playground and EO Browser

Hello, I wonder if someone could help me understand this. What is the difference between Sentinel Playground and EO Browser? Specifically, I am trying to understand why one image is showing cloud cover that the other does not show. Is it that the EO Browser only shows imagery taken for a specific day, whereas the Playground is accumulated data over time? Thanks in advance, Ryan

How can I get the exact date the image was captured?

Convert filename on download

Hi, I’ve just started trialling sentinel hub, with the objective of being able to download a time-series of imager for a specific AOI, less than 10km2. Ideally, it would be best to store the extracted data locally, with an appropriate filename, with the sensor name and acquisition date in the GoeTiff filename. However, when I use the SentinelHubCatalog API and the standard SentinelHubRequest API together, I am only able to pull imagery down with the request format (folder with random request ID, and then the standard ‘request.json’ and ‘response.tif’ files). Is there anyway to rename the file so that it can be identified, otherwise you have to use the request.json each time? Alternatively, am I using the wrong tool? Is there a way of capturing a time-series for a small AOI? Below is my current script, in which I search using Catalog, and then use Request to collect 3 images (I have added a download folder path extracting the date from the timestamp): import python libraries import os

Poor Resolution for Sentinel-2 in ArcMap

I downloaded a 32-bit GeoTiff Sentinel-2 image from 08/08/2016 with which I plan to calculate NDVI in ArcMap, but the resolution is awful. I layer stacked bands 2, 3, 4, and 8 which I had thought are 10m resolution but the image is far from clear. I used the Composite Bands tool to stack but am not sure why even after downloading the image looked so bad. I wanted to know what to do different or preprocessing steps I may have missed? I have access to ERDAS Imagine too since ArcMap is not great for raster data. Thanks!

Obtaining Sentinel 2 atmospherically corrected images

Hi There I am still new to using sentinel hub for my sentinel 2 image download. At work we use the sentinel hub configuration utility to generate some of or index maps. Can someone please guide me on how I would go about configuring a wms which would allow me to download and open atmospherically corrected images in QGIS which I can do further processing on. I need access to bands 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,8a,11,12. I am based in Africa and therefore cant use the recent L2a products which only cover europe. My study area is large and I would like to run a land classification on multiple sentinel2 tiles. Downloading and atmospheric correction manually is consuming far too much of my time. Any advice on how to set up a wms that would allow me to download atmospherically corrected sentinel 2 tiles in QGIS for this purpose would be greatly appreciated.
