Ground Temperature changes

I would like to find and index in order to trace the changes in ground temperature after a wildfire.
I found indeces for moisture, vegetation, CO, Aerosol (Sentimel 2 and 5) but i cant find an index for groud temperature. Could anyone help?

Hi Pavlos,

Have you tried the Sentinel-3 or Landsat-8 products? Brightness temperature from S3 or Landsat’s thermal band for example could be used as proxies for ground temperature (with caveats as often in Earth Observation…), or at least to detect changes after wildfires.
