How to recognise plastic surfaces?

I am interested in classifying plastic surfaces with Sentinel-2 L1C. (plastic yes/no). Does anyone have an idea which band combination is best for this?

Hi Philipp,

this paper (sadly not open-access) could be of interest to you: Combining ad hoc spectral indices based on
LANDSAT-8 OLI/TIRS sensor data for the detection of plastic cover vineyard

You might get some ideas from it, even though S2 lacks a thermal channel which helps in identifying plastic covers because of their temperature.
