NDVI values of the downloaded tif file in the QGIS

I downloaded the NDVI tiff file and imported into QGIS, the values are ranging in thousands. Though it shows a correct range (-1 to 1) in the EO browser. Also instead of one band, it shows three bands.

The file downlaoded has one band but the values is ranging from 0 to 250. How can I get its value from -1 to 1?
