I’m currently analyzing Landsat 7 thermal data for an academic project in remote sensing so I can get LST. However, I am uncertain about the specific units used to represent temperature values in the thermal bands. Is there any clarification on the units used for temperature values in Landsat 7 thermal bands in EO Browser? I would like to know if the displayed values are in tenths of degrees Celsius and whether a scaling factor of 10 is applied

Hi Paraskevi,

You can find more details about the Landsat 7 bands in our documentation pages for L1 and L2.

The L1 thermal infrared bands (B06_VCID_1, B06_VCID_2) are expressed in kelvin, as is B06 in the L2 product.
