Vegetation area measurement

Hello everyone,

Any idea or recommendations on how to get vegetation aerial and/or satellite images in EO Browser and to measure its area by using NDVI index in QGIS.

Hi Martin, there are several sensors available through Sentinel Hub that can be used to extract NDVI. For example, Sentinel-2. There is also a theme dedicated to Vegetation too in EO Browser.

You could also use Land Cover Maps such as CORINE or ESA World Cover to extract vegetation classes too.


I missed to mention that the vegetation is supposed to be analyse in a urban areas.
